Extra-Curricular Activities

Throughout the school year we have a varied programme of school events, including: the Easter, Harvest and Christmas Church services, whole school concerts and productions (Christmas and Summer), Sports Day at the English Institute of Sport, Mini-Olympics Day, Aspire Day, Global Week, Book Week, Maths Week, Online Safety Week & Cultural Week.

All our children visit museums and other places of interest. Recent trips have included: Kelham Island, Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet, Whirlow Hall Farm, Jorvik Centre, Arc Archaeological Site, Losehill Hall, The Magna Centre, Moorlands Discovery Centre, the Victorian Classroom, Castleton, Eden Camp, Aston Butterfly House, Sheffield Mosque and Bishop’s House.

Throughout the year, we also offer a varied programme of activities during school lunchtimes and after school, including: athletics, orienteering, cross country, football training (with professional club coaches), basketball, knit-ting, chess, music lessons (piano, recorders, brass and woodwind), choir, dance, theatre skills, circus skills, Mad Maths, Mad Science and many more!

Clubs for the Year 2022- 2023:

This year’s clubs for the Autumn term include the following:

Monday: Art Club (Year 1- 6)

Tuesday: Young Voices Choir, Football (KS2)

Wednesday: Adventure Club (KS2), Dance (KS1)

Thursday: Girls Football Club (KS2), 

Friday: Dancedaze Street Dance (KS2).

Plus daily Baily Cup activities with Mr Johnson & Game Activities with lunchtime supervisors.

Spring term clubs often include the following:
